Dan Bulf

Like many people, Dan’s yoga journey began in fits and starts. He irregularly began his practice 15 years ago bouncing around various studios on the North Shore of Chicago. He eventually fell into his regular practice in 2015, completed his 200 hour teacher training in 2019, and started teaching right away.

He decided to take the training with the intention of challenging himself to share and connect with people in a new way - teaching. While yoga’s strength and fluidity formed his base, it has been the mindfulness and inner work that have expanded his practice. Expect to move, sweat, and breathe. Plan on connecting your body, mind and heart.

A top priority for Dan is to laugh. Whether holding planks while he tells dad jokes or acknowledging a goofy national day of the year, Dan’s lighthearted approach makes yoga fun and approachable. He continues to hone his humorous and insightful voice to bring joy and ease to new yogis and experts alike.

A final tool in Dan’s box is his training and practice as a skilled facilitator. He understands how to create safe spaces that deepen awareness and stimulate growth. He has supported hundreds of people through guided experiences related to yoga, grief, fatherhood, and masculinity.
